Our Leadership
We are governed by a General Board consisting of Elders and Deacons in accordance with the New Testament and our Bylaws.
The office of Elder is primarily concerned with the spiritual matters of the church.
The office of Deacon is primarily concerned with the management of material resources.
Ordained Staff are considered Elders but have no voting rights in the general board.

Senior Pastor
REX MCKINNISS
Rex grew up in a big family playing sports, camping, and living the small town dream. He moved to Kentucky for college, roomed with a guy named Jake Ratliff, and earned a B.A. in Bible & Ministry from Kentucky Christian University. Rex came to TCC in the summer of 2013 as our Youth & Children’s Minister. Seven years later, he began serving in his current role. He is married to Kimberly and they have two sons, Sawyer and Henry. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors, playing guitar, working with his hands, and volunteering as a firefighter.

Tanner Bowles
Tanner hails from the Ironton area, and has a passion for youth and family ministry. He joined us in the fall of 2021 as a youth and family intern, and took over his current role in April 2022. He went to school at Kentucky Christian University where he graduated with a B.A. in Bible & Ministry. Tanner loves the music of 90’s country, and is a Cincinnati sports fan. He is married to Hannah, and has a dog named Odie.

Jake Ratliff
Jake was raised in the middle of Indiana, then moved to Kentucky to attended Kentucky Christian University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in University Studies. He is married to Lela. They have two beautiful daughters and a handsome son. He enjoys spending his time outdoors; hunting, fishing or taking photos. His favorite quote comes from the brilliant mind of Joe Dirt, "Life's a garden, dig it." Jake also serves as the Campus Minister for Kentucky Christian University.
